Health
Currently a dispensary, funded by the AHS Foundation and operating from a prefabricated hut, provides the only medical help for thousands of people. However, a new Health Centre is being constructed by AHS which is due to open in July 2010.

In the main health related projects will be focussed on the Health Centre but
KCF will look to fund projects which support and complement its activities such as:-
i) Health and hygiene training;
ii) Provision of a network of small dispensaries in the local area, to support the Health Centre by acting as a first port of call and to deal with less serious cases, avoiding the need for people to travel long distances;
iii) Provision of a water purification system
